The Dutch website Treemagotchi is a social game that brings people with good intentions together.
Participants have their own virtual tree which they have to feed through sustainable actions. Every time something positive for the environment is done the tree grows and blossoms. But…when people leave the tree it slowly dies. A dwarf is helping the participants.
Like in 2009 also in 2010 makeITfair joins the Treemagotchi. By sending a digital postcard to their mobile network operator people can feed their tree. Also makeITfair is involved in developing teaching materials on treemagotchi for secondary schools.
