States of Bremen, Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein
The German states of Bremen, Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein have outsourced the procurement of IT hardware to IT service centre Dataport. Dataport has developed a standard document listing the required technical specifications for IT equipment. While this document concerns mainly technical specification, the ILO Core Conventions are also mentioned: “The Core ILO Conventions, as well as the relevant guidelines and regulations for occupational safety are to be respected for the offered products and services”. Furthermore, Dataport requires compliance with ecological criteria, referencing established certifications and labels, such as the Energy Star label.
